The “Honorary Lectures” program involves inviting prominent Arab and international figures from the world of thought and politics to offer lectures in which they present their valuable contributions, rich experiences and intellectual outputs. This event receives wide media coverage. The following lectures have so far been given :
- Lecture 1 : H.E. Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States : “The future of international law and international organizations and tribunals”.
- Lecture 2 : Dr. Hichem Djait, former president of the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts : “Research methodology in the biography of the Prophet and the elements of renewal.”
- Lecture 3 : H.E. Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities : “Ways of investing in culture.”
- Lecture 4 : Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al-Ghunaim, former Minister of Education and Higher Education in the State of Kuwait and former director of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts : “The importance of marine mapping”.
- Lecture 5 : H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States : Presentation of his books entitled : “Witness to War and Peace” and “Egypt’s Foreign Policy from 2004 to 2011”.
