ALECSO Director-General Pays Courtesy Visit to Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, paid a courtesy visit, on July 1, 2026, to H.E. Mr. Mohamed bin Abdullah Al-Buraithan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Tunisia, on the occasion of his assumption of duties as Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Tunisia.

At the outset of the meeting, the Director-General congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, wishing him every success in his new diplomatic mission. He commended the close and fruitful cooperation between ALECSO and Saudi Arabia, as well as the Kingdom's leading role in supporting joint Arab action, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and science.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his appreciation for this visit, reaffirming Saudi Arabia's continued support for ALECSO’s efforts and its commitment to further strengthening cooperation in pursuit of shared goals.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on a number of issues of mutual interest and to explore prospects for enhanced cooperation between ALECSO and relevant Saudi institutions, with a view to advancing joint Arab action and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals across the Arab world.
