Sudanese Education Minister receives ALECSO Representative

 

H.E. Dr. Al-Tahami Al-Zain Hajar, Minister of Education of the Republic of The Sudan  and Chairman of the Sudanese National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, met in Khartoum, Sudan, with Mr. Yahya Mohamed Mansar, representative of the Director-General of ALECSO, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Mustapha, Secretary-General of the Sudanese National Commission.

At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Yahya Mohamed Mansar conveyed to the Minister the greetings of the Director-General, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, reaffirming ALECSO’s firm commitment to providing all forms of technical support for educational, cultural, and scientific projects in Sudan. For his part, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by ALECSO in supporting education, culture, and scientific research.

The meeting also addressed the strategic importance of the Khartoum International Institute for the Arabic Language as one of ALECSO’s key subsidiary institutions dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the Arabic language.

In this context, the Minister expressed his best wishes for success to the Institute’s new administration, represented by Dr. Magdi Ahmed Abdelmaarouf. He emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to rehabilitate and equip the Institute’s facilities in preparation for the 2026–2027 academic year.
