Under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, the 60th session of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Technical Assistance to African Countries was held on May 13, 2026, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
The meeting reviewed reports on the Fund’s technical activities implemented in several African countries, as well as the financial statements for 2025 and the proposed budget estimates for 2027.
ALECSO participated in the meeting in its capacity as a member of the Fund’s Board of Directors, represented by Mr. Yahia Mohamed Mansar, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts in Cairo.
