H.E. Tunisian President Visits ALECSO’s Pavilion at   Tunis International Book Fair

 

 

On the occasion of the inauguration of the 40th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair on April 23, 2026, H.E. President Kaïs Saïed, President of the Republic of Tunisia, visited the ALECSO pavilion which showcased a selection of the Organization’s flagship publications.

The Tunisian President was welcomed by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, who briefed him on the Organization’s key programs and initiatives in the fields of education, culture, and science. The Director-General was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT.

This visit underscores Tunisia’s commitment to joint Arab cultural action and highlights ALECSO’s vital role in promoting knowledge and fostering creativity across the region.

ALECSO’s participation  in the Book Fair reflects its continued presence at major regional and international cultural events.

The ALECSO pavilion offers visitors a rich collection of educational, scientific, and cultural publications, while also showcasing its key projects, programs, and activities aimed at advancing cultural development across the Arab world.
