Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the award ceremony of the King Faisal International Prize, in its 48th edition, was held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on April 15, 2026. This annual event is one of the most prominent scientific and cultural gatherings worldwide, offering an opportunity to honor distinguished figures who have made outstanding contributions in the service of humanity.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, took part in the award ceremony. He was accompanied by Dr. Humaid Al-Nofali, Director of Culture, and Dr. Mourad Rifi, Director of the Arabization Coordination Bureau.
The ceremony was attended by princes and ministers, prominent scholars and intellectuals, and representatives of scientific, cultural, and media institutions from around the world. This high-level attendance reflects the prestigious status enjoyed by the King Faisal International Prize at both the Arab and international levels.
