As part of efforts to strengthen cultural and scientific cooperation with leading research institutions in the Arab world, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, offered, on April 15, 2026, the “Encyclopedia of Great Arab and Muslim Scholars and Writers” to the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
The Encyclopedia is one of ALECSO’s most significant scholarly projects. It documents the contributions of prominent Arab and Muslim scholars and writers across different historical periods; thereby helping to preserve Arab cultural memory and enhance its presence within academic and research spheres.
This initiative is part of ALECSO’s broader efforts to promote its scholarly output and enhance its dissemination among Arab research institutions, in a way that supports knowledge pathways and serves researchers and experts in Arab and Islamic heritage.
