H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Egyptian Minister of Culture, received, on February 5, 2026, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.
The meeting discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between ALECSO and the Culture Ministry in the cultural and artistic fields. It explored prospects for collaboration in supporting cultural industries, preserving both tangible and intangible Arab heritage, exchanging expertise in training and capacity‑building programs, and developing mechanisms for implementing joint cultural projects that contribute to strengthening Arab identity and promoting the dissemination of culture and knowledge.
The Minister emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with ALECSO, one of the prominent Arab organizations dedicated to the promotion of culture, education, and science. He highlighted the importance of fostering regional partnerships in ways that advance sustainable cultural development across Arab countries.
