H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General ALECSO, paid a visit, on 15 January 2026, to the Arab Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication, as part of his in situ follow-up of the activities of ALECSO’s specialized subsidiary institutions. He was received, along with his accompanying delegation, by Eng. Mohamed Samer Qawas, Manager of the Center, in addition to several of its executives and staff members.
During the visit, the Director-General was briefed on the Center’s main activities and the significant role it plays in the Arabization of sciences across various disciplines. He commended the efforts of the Center’s staff and their continuous contribution to supporting Arab scientific production, which has enabled the Center to receive numerous awards and honors.
The Director-General also listened to the concerns of the Center’s staff members, who expressed their appreciation for the visit, considering it an important source of moral support for them and for the Center.
For his part, Eng. Qawas presented an overview of the Center’s programs for the coming period, in light of current scientific and knowledge-related challenges.
At the end of the meeting, the Director-General renewed his thanks to all those present, wishing them continued success and achievement, and encouraging them to pursue their dedication and teamwork in the service of ALECSO’s mission and goals.
