H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on 12 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Bukhari Ghanem Mohamed Afandi, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Tunisia.
The Director-General welcomed the Ambassador and affirmed ALECSO’s keenness to further strengthen cooperation with its Member States in the fields of education, culture, and science.
For his part, the Sudanese Ambassador commended the role played by ALECSO in supporting joint Arab action in the educational, cultural, and scientific fields. He affirmed his country’s interest in enhancing cooperation with the Organization and benefiting from its programs, projects, and initiatives.
The meeting was an opportunity to share views and discuss several topics of common interest, which helps strengthen cooperation, meet shared goals, and serve the implementation of ALECSO’s vision and mandate.
