The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) participated, on 29 November 2025, in the celebration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, held at the headquarters of the International Diplomatic Academy in Tunis.
The event was chaired by H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, and H.E. Ambassador Rami Farouk Qaddoumi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Tunisia, and was attended by members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps.
The Minister and the Ambassador offered remarks on this occasion, in which they reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian Cause and highlighted the harsh circumstances endured by the defenseless Palestinian people. They commended the role of Tunisia’s President, Government, and people in continuously supporting the Palestinian Cause in various international fora, in defense of the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent State, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The event also featured the screening of a documentary film portraying the suffering of Palestinians and showing scenes of the extensive destruction caused by the Israeli aggression on infrastructure, homes, schools, mosques, hospitals, and farmlands.
Participants renewed, on this occasion, their call on the international community to strengthen its support for the Palestinian Cause until the Palestinian people fully obtain all their legitimate rights.
