HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, received, on December 7, 2025 at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, along with his accompanying delegation,.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Director-General’s participation in the third edition of the “Arab Narrative Days” event, held on December 7-10, 2025.
Prince Turki Al-Faisal welcomed the Director-General and his accompanying delegation, and stressed the importance of this meeting as a reflection of the shared vision supporting the mission and goals of both institutions.
Both sides discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between ALECSO and the Center, and reviewed the shared goals to be pursued by the Joint Committee, which will serve as a platform for implementing joint activities and initiatives.
The meeting saw the signing of a supplementary agreement to the Memorandum of Understanding previously concluded between the two parties on October 7, 2025.
The Director-General seized this opportunity to express his thanks and gratitude to HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal and HRH Princess Maha bint Mohammed Al-Faisal for the warm welcome and for providing this opportunity to expand partnership between the two institutions in support of the cultural program designed to highlight the Arab civilizational heritage.
