The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (Education Department) held, in cooperation with the Lebanese National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, the Second Forum on “Educational Measurement and Evaluation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation,” convened in Beirut, Lebanon, on December 8-10, 2025.
The Forum was organized as part of ALECSO’s efforts to promote education transformation and enhance the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to develop measurement and evaluation in Arab educational systems.
The Forum was designed to :
- Enhance the use of smart evaluation and improve institutional performance;
- Develop a joint Arab vision for educational quality indicators;
- Develop practical solutions to improve quality of education based on smart evaluation outcomes.
Prominent experts and academics specializing in measurement and evaluation from several Arab countries took part in the Forum, held under the supervision of Dr. Rami Iskander, Director of the Education at ALECSO, and H.E. Ms. Amira El-Solh, Secretary-General of the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO.
