The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization held, in collaboration with the Jordanian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, a training workshop on improving the digital quality of educational administration.
The workshop took place in Amman, Jordan, on December 8-10, 2025. It aimed to familiarize teachers and educational leaders with the fundamental concepts of digital transformation and analyze its integrated dimensions, which will help them design actionable plans in educational administration, especially during times of crises.
In his opening remarks, ALECSO’s representative, Mr. Osama Al-Habash, noted that digital transformation has become an urgent necessity imposed by global developments and the challenges facing educational systems due to pandemics and natural disasters. He underlined the importance of re-engineering educational and administrative processes to ensure that students and teachers benefit from a learning environment that efficiently employs technology in line with present-day requirements.
For his part, Mr. Sultan Khalif, Secretary of the Jordanian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, indicated that the Commission places great importance on developing the education sector and improving its outcomes, by building the capacities of workers in educational institutions and strengthening partnerships with international and regional organizations, foremost among them ALECSO. He stressed that improving the quality of educational administration is a cornerstone for expanding equitable access to education, especially for areas and groups most affected by crises.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Mohamed Farag, Expert from Egypt and Dr. Ali Erjash, Expert from Yemen.
