The Director of ICT at ALECSO, Dr. Mohamed Jemni, participated in the “Science and Society Forum: Partnership and Prospects for Sustainable Development” (F2SPH’2025), held on May 26–27, 2025 at the City of Sciences in Tunis. He took part in the Fifth Session on the Second Day, dedicated to case studies and practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI).
Dr. Jemni reviewed ALECSO’s strategic efforts in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation of education in the Arab world. He underscored the importance of regional and international collaboration in developing AI-based solutions that enhance the quality and sustainability of education.
Dr. Jemni highlighted some of ALECSO’s key initiatives in this regard, including the “Arab Code Week,” the "Saddiqni" platform (Blockchain-based academic certificate authentication system ), the NFT Educational Platform project, the Arab AI-in-Education Conference, and the Arab Charter for AI Ethics (currently being prepared).
Dr. Jemni stressed that adopting AI in accordance with an Arab ethical and cultural perspective can help overcome many developmental challenges. He called for stronger partnerships between Arab and international scientific and research institutions to build intelligent educational systems that respect local specificities while benefiting from the latest technological innovations.
This participation reaffirms ALECSO’s role as a leading organization in supporting digital transformation in Arab countries and promoting the responsible use of AI in education, culture, and science.
