In keeping with the developments taking place in the Arab and international arenas in the fields of higher education and scientific research, and as part of ALECSO’s endeavor to develop effective means and methods to harmonize Arab higher education systems and address their problems, high-level conferences of Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research are convened on a regular basis.
These conferences serve as a mechanism to address the fundamental and common aspects of Arab higher education systems, and to develop forward-looking visions to promote and upgrade these systems and improve their quality; the aim being to keep pace with changes and innovations at the Arab and global levels, share experiences in the fields of higher education and scientific research, upgrade the relevant policies, enhance higher education curricula and scientific research programs, and strengthen the relevant structures and human resources.
Goals :
- Share experience and expertise in the field of higher education and scientific research.
- Address higher education issues and problems, and develop appropriate solutions thereto.
- Develop future-oriented visions for higher education processes and trends.
