As part of its efforts to promote technological awareness among Arab children and youth in a rapidly evolving digital world, and to enhance their ability to master modern technologies, ALECSO is preparing to launch the fifth edition of the Arab Code Week (2025) under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and Programming in the Service of Arab Culture”.
The Arab Code Week is the largest annual digital event in the Arab world, involving both teachers and students, and aiming at spread the culture of programming across the region and developing basic scientific educational skills to enhance technology-based innovation and creativity.
The event is carried out in collaboration with Al-Saad Foundation for Knowledge and Scientific Research (Kuwait) and the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives.
The activities of the 5th edition of the Arab Code Week will begin on April 19, 2025, with virtual training sessions for teachers and students on various programming languages and AI tools that help participants in the implementation of their project. The "Golden Events" will run from May 10 to May 17, 2025, with the official launch of the competition and the reception of participant submissions, which will remain open until July 15, 2025.
