The Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, paid a courtesy visit, on March 18, 2025, to H.E. Mr. Bassem Yahia Hassan, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Tunisia.
The Director-General briefed the Ambassador on the programs and activities currently implemented by the Organization. He commended the significant level of cooperation between ALECSO and Egypt, and outlined ALECSO’s projects for the period to come.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the significant role played by ALECSO in its fields of competence. He commended the Organization’s efforts to promote the spread of science and knowledge across the Arab world, and to provide plans and strategies for Arab countries to upgrade the sectors of education, culture, science, and scientific research.
