Under the patronage of H.E. Director-General Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization organized, in partnership with the Carthage High Commercial Studies Institute (IHEC-Carthage), the ALECSO Forum on Modern Educational Thought in its first edition. The event was held on December 18-19, 2024 at the headquarters of IHEC-Carthage, under the theme of “The Future of Arab Education: The Smart University”.
The Forum was held under the supervision of Dr. Rami Iskander, Director of Education, and Ms. Jalila Abidi, Educational Specialist at the Education Department and initiator of the Forum.
This Forum was designed to address key educational issues through the latest scientific approaches, and to discuss intellectual and cultural themes with a view to developing Arab educational thought. It served as a platform for sharing Arab experiences and expertise, exploring modern educational trends, and providing specialized research literature in this field.
