The United Arab Emirates hosts, on November 27-28, 2024, in the capital, Abu Dhabi, the 19th Conference of Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Conference is organized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
The Conference features high-level delegations headed by Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research, delegations from Arab, regional, and international organizations concerned with educational development, as well as leaders of higher education institutions in the UAE, and a select group of education experts and specialists.
The 19th session of the Conference is held under the theme “A Resilient Higher Education System in Pace with Rapid Global Changes.”
The Conference addresses ways of developing higher education and scientific research policies in the Arab world, enhancing human resources capacity, and upgrading educational curricula, all in pursuit of higher quality; the ultimate aim being to promote a leading, advanced, and competitive higher education system in the Arab countries.
