During the opening ceremony of ALECSO's Second Arab University Twinning Forum, held at the University of Sharjah on November 20-23, 2024, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Qasimi, the winners of the 6th edition of the ALECSO Creativity and Innovation Award for Young Researchers were honored.
This year’s edition focuses on “Green Economy”, and bears the name of the University of Sharjah as a recognition, by ALECSO, of the University's valuable efforts to advance science in the service of sustainable development.
HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, ALECSO Director-General, and Dr. Hamid Majoul Al-Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, honored winners in the three categories of the Award.
A total of 183 research papers and projects from across the Arab world were submitted for the Award, and were evaluated by a jury composed of prominent experts.
On this occasion, ALECSO expresses its congratulations to all winners, and wishes continued progress and success to all participants. It reaffirms its confidence in the ability of Arab researchers to significantly contribute to the advancement of science and sustainable development in the Arab world.
