H.E. Ms. Buthaina bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, received, on November 10, 2024 at the Ministry's headquarters, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss ways to scaling up cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Qatar, which is hosting the 4th Arab Mathematics Olympiad in Doha, on November 10-14, 2024.
The Director-General thanked the Minister for hosting the Olympiad, which features the participation of all Arab countries, an event that was highly appreciated by the Minister.
Both parties agreed to pursue cooperation in the service of joint Arab action through education, culture, and science.
The Director-General expressed his gratitude to the Leadership, government, and people of Qatar for the generous hospitality extended to the Arab delegations and to the Scientific Committee overseeing the Olympiad.
