The Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) organized, on November 1-3, 2024 in Morocco, jointly with the Morocco National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture and the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the Second Training Workshop on “Educational Empowerment of Arab Youth for Responsible Use of Social Media”.
The workshop is designed to train educators and educational inspectors on ways to equip Arab youth with critical thinking and discernment skills, thereby ensuring the necessary protection for young users of social media platforms.
The activity proceeds from a reference framework that highlights the importance of modern digital technologies in the 21st century, while focusing on the interests of Arab youth using social media platforms and the mental attitudes and cultural values necessary for self-protection.
