Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, the ICT Department organized a series of events as part of the Scientific Days of Artificial Intelligence, held on October 28-31, 2024. The events included:
- International Conference on Smart Learning Environments (October 28-29, 2024)
- Second Arab International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (October 29-30, 2024)
- Training Workshop on Using Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education (October 29, 2024)
- International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare in Education (October 31, 2024)
The last of these events was the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare in Education, organized in collaboration between ALECSO, the Centre de Calcul El-Khawarizmi, and the University of Artois (France).
The Conference focused on ways of promoting the use of AI technologies to improve the quality of healthcare and develop specialized training programs for medical personnel.
The event brought together experts from various disciplines to discuss the future applications of AI in addressing health challenges and enhancing healthcare education, which would promote an innovative and digitally transformed medical education environment.
The conference program featured lectures delivered by prominent experts, along with the presentation of 22 papers accepted by the Conference Scientific Committee, which had rigorously reviewed over 60 submissions. These papers enriched discussions on the latest innovations and challenges associated with the use of AI to enhance the quality of healthcare and medical education.
