As part of the Scientific Days on Artificial Intelligence, organized by ALECSO on October 28-30, 2024, the International Conference on Smart Learning Environments (ICSLE 2024) kicked off on October 28th at ALECSO headquarters in Tunis.
The conference is organized in collaboration with the Research Laboratory in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (LaTICE) at the University of Tunis and the International Association of Smart Learning Environments (ISLE). It saw the participation of prominent international experts and academics.
The conference seeks to explore the latest innovations and applications in artificial intelligence and smart learning, as well as to enhance international collaboration to develop smart learning strategies, in a way that helps improve education quality worldwide.
In his opening remarks, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, highlighted the significance of this conference as a platform for sharing insights and experiences among participants from various countries around the world. He underlined the importance of innovation in artificial intelligence and its growing impact on education. He reaffirmed ALECSO's commitment to supporting research and applications designed to improve smart learning systems in Arab countries, as well as to enhancing international cooperation to develop AI-based learning strategies.
