Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Naeem, Acting Director of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts, inaugurated, on October 8, 2024, the new academic year 2024-2025.
In his statement on this occasion, Al-Naeem welcomed the new students and faculty members, and conveyed to them the greetings of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO. He reaffirmed ALECSO’s commitment to promoting Arabic manuscripts and preparing qualified specialists in manuscript studies and related sciences. He encouraged the new students and researchers to deepen their interest in the scientific study of manuscripts which covers a wide range of specializations.
