H.E. Dr. Owen Bonnici, Minister of National Heritage and Arts of the Republic of Malta, received, on September 27, 2024 at the Ministry’s headquarters, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General ALECSO and his accompanying delegation.
The Maltese Minister welcomed the ALECSO delegation, and thanked them for this visit, the first of its kind, which offered an opportunity to further develop cooperation and strengthen educational, cultural, and scientific exchanges between the two sides.
For his part, the Director-General stressed ALECSO’s keenness to expand its relations of cooperation at the Arab and global levels, in a way that fosters greater communication among peoples and promotes dialogue among civilizations to build a better future for humanity.
The Minister stressed his Ministry’s readiness to collaborate with ALECSO in various fields, including capacity-building and knowledge exchange in cultural, educational, and scientific fields.
The Maltese Minister and the Director-General instructed their respective teams to begin implementing the necessary arrangements to facilitate cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Organization.
