The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Department of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation) organized, on September 16, 2024, in collaboration with the Arab Council for Social Responsibility, a Conference on Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development of Arab Universities.
Among the topics addressed by the Conference were the role of UN organizations and NGOs in planning education during crises, as well as digital transformation for social entrepreneurship projects in the Arab region.
The Conference witnessed the launch of the Arab University Social Responsibility Network, in addition to the announcement of the criteria and conditions for the Arab University Social Responsibility Award.
ALECSO was represented at the conference by Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Kamal, Director of the Cairo-based Institute of Arab Research and Studies.
