H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on September 16, 2024 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities of the Republic of Iraq, along with his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Director-General commended Iraq's significant role and continued support for ALECSO, the specialized Arab House of Expertise. He also highlighted Iraq’s contributions to supporting various major cultural projects.
For his part, the Minister expressed his delight to visit ALECSO at the head of an Iraqi delegation that will oversee the organization of the “Iraqi Cultural Day” at ALECSO headquarters on September 17, 2024. He indicated that a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with ALECSO to enhance joint cultural action in various aspects.
The Iraqi delegation was briefed, during the meeting, on ALECSO’s current and future activities and programs, through presentations made by the Directors of Technical Departments.
