H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, at ALECSO headquarters, Dr. Mashhoor Al-Refai, Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology in Jordan, and Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Sanad Abu Darwish, Director of Science and Scientific Research at ALECSO.
The meeting discussed several pertinent points, including the need to unify research efforts and strengthen cooperation among research centers. It also addressed common priorities in various fields of research, and underlined the need to put forward innovative ideas and visions and to support Arab researchers.
Emphasis was also placed on the need to promote the use of the Arabic language in scientific research, thereby ensuring the dissemination of knowledge in a language that contributes to enhancing the cultural and scientific identity of the Arab region.
