H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on August 2, 2024 in his office, H.E. Mr. Zayed bin Saeed Al-Khayarin, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tunisia.
The Director-General welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on his appointment to this new position, wishing him success in his diplomatic mission.
The Director-General briefed the Ambassador on ALECSO’s activities and programs in its fields of action, and its strategic plan for the period 2023-2028. He commended the significant level of cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Qatar in various fields, most notably Qatar's hosting of the forthcoming Conference of Arab Education Ministers, scheduled for January 2025.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the Director-General for providing the opportunity for him to learn more about ALECSO and its activities and programs. He commended the Organization’s significant work benefiting Arab countries and its openness to its Arab and international environment. He wished ALECSO, under the leadership of its Director-General, continued success in fulfilling its mandate.
