A delegation from the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (Culture Department) participated in a meeting on “Virtual Visits to World Heritage Sites”, held by the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the UNESCO World Heritage Center. The meeting took place in New Delhi on the sidelines of the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee.
The “Virtual Visits to World Heritage Sites” project is one of the main projects to which ALECSO gives great importance, and which it works to implement jointly with Arab countries.
It was agreed with the World Heritage Center to collaborate on the implementation of this project in Arab countries, especially those with special needs.
