H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on June 11, 2024 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Mr. Azzouz Baalal, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Tunisia.
The meeting discussed the ways and means of further strengthening cooperation between ALECSO and Algeria, through the activities that will be implemented in Algeria jointly with the Algerian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, in line with the cooperation agreement concluded between ALECSO and the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Director-General briefed the Ambassador on ALECSO’s programs and projects implemented in the Arab countries jointly with National Commissions. He commended the role of Algeria in hosting many of the Organization’s events and activities.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the Director-General for providing this opportunity to discuss topics and issues related to ALECSO’s areas of action, and commended the significant programmes, projects and initiatives implemented by ALECSO.
