ALECSO Director-General pays visit to Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia



H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, paid a visit, on June 3, 2024, to H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tunisia. 

The meeting explored ways of strengthening cooperation between ALECSO and Saudi Arabia. It specifically addressed the outcomes of the meetings of the Executive Board (121st  session) and the General Conference (27th session), kindly hosted by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 14-17, 2024.

The Director-General thanked the Ambassador, on behalf of the Kingdom, on providing excellent conditions for the success of these two meetings, and asked him to convey his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and to his HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to all participants, including Ministers, Members of the Executive Board, representatives of the Arab League General Secretariat, and representatives of Arab, regional and international organizations.

For his part, the Ambassador thanked the Director-General for his continuous cooperation, appreciating his role in strengthening joint action to best serve the Organization’s mandate. He also expressed his satisfaction with the support that the Kingdom provides to the Organization at all levels in the service of joint Arab action.
