Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, President of the University of Baghdad, received on April 30, 2024 H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, who was accompanied by Dr. Sami Zayoud, Mr. Abdelhak Haif, and Ms. Sally Hattab.
The President of the University thanked the ALECSO delegation for this visit to the University to learn more about its scientific activities and specialized faculties. He indicated that this visit will serve to build and strengthen cooperation with ALECSO as well as with other universities through the Organization. He expressed the University's readiness to host courses, workshops and specialized scientific events.
For his part, the Director-General expressed his delight to visit the prestigious University of Baghdad. He briefed the President of the University on ALECSO’s main projects and programs for the period to come.
At the end of the meeting, the Director-General renewed his thanks to the President of the University for his constructive visions and suggestions, noting that this visit lays the ground for a strong partnership between ALECSO and the University of Baghdad, especially for promoting scientific research and implementing the Arab University Ranking project which ALECSO has already started working on jointly with its partners.
The Director-General extended an invitation to the President of the University of Baghdad to attend the 2nd Forum of Arab Universities, to be held in Sharjah, UAE, in October 2024.
