The Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization took part in the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in the Era of Digital Transformations, held on April 23-25, 2024 in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
The Conference kicked off on April 23, 2024 in the presence of the Mauritanian Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation and Modernization of Administration, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of the University of Nouakchott, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and a number of officials from higher education institutions.
A large number of researchers and doctoral students from Mauritania participated in this conference, along with experts from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Qatar, UAE, and Britain. Experts from India and the United States participated virtually.
ALECSO was represented by Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT Department, who offered a keynote lecture entitled : “The use of Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse and NFT in Education to Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship among Youth.”
