H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on February 19, 2024, H.E. Mr. Moctar Ould Dahi, Minister of Education and Reform of The Educational System of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The meeting discussed various issues related to education, and explored ways of enhancing the fruitful cooperation and excellent relations between ALECSO and the Mauritanian Education Ministry, and promoting the activities carried out in partnership with ALECSO through the Mauritanian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
The Director-General thanked the Minister for his support for the Organization and for Mauritania’s continued hosting of activities to develop education and enhance ALECSO’s forward-looking vision in this field, in pursuit of Goal 4 of the Agenda for Sustainable Development.
For his part, the Minister thanked the Director-General for his valuable work to promote education in line with the global orientation towards transforming education to be more equitable, inclusive and responsive to the requirements of sustainable development.
