Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Naim, Director of the Khartoum International Institute for the Arabic Language, participated, on February 8, 2024, in the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Arabic Language Departments, chaired by Dr. Hajed Al-Harbi, Head of the Arabic Language Department at King Saud University.
The meeting discussed ways of promoting cooperation in the service of the Arabic language, the joint programs to be implemented in celebration of the World Arabic Language Day, as well as the standardization of Arabic-language curricula.
The meeting also addressed preparations for the symposium on quality and accreditation of Arabic language programs, along with preparations for the Society’s participation in the 10th International Conference of the Arabic Language, to be held by the Arabic Language International Council under the generous patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
