As part of promoting cooperation between ALECSO and Ez-Zitouna University in a way that serves their common goals in terms of education and scientific research, and proceeding from a shared belief in the need to enhance the contribution of scientific research to achieving sustainable development, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and Dr. Abdellatif Bouazizi, President of Ez-Zitouna University, signed, on January 25, 2024, at ALECSO headquarters, a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties.
The MoU is designed to enhance cooperation in organizing joint conferences and in conducting studies and research projects, while enabling the University to participate in ALECSO’s activities in areas of mutual interest. It also aims to strengthen the University’s capacities so that it can meet the standards of the Arab University Ranking.
An executive program will be established by the two parties, specifying the general goals, the implementation schedule, as well as the mechanisms for the execution and supervision of joint projects.
