H.E. Dr. Nabil Mohamed Ahmed, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Djibouti, received, at the Ministry’s headquarters, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and his accompanying delegation.
The Director-General briefed the Minister on the upcoming ministerial conferences that ALECSO will hold in the close future, including the Conference of Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research, scheduled to take place in 2024 in the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between ALECSO and Djibouti in ALECSO’s spheres of competence, especially in science and scientific research, including ALECSO’s provision of a number of scholarships for Djiboutian students studying at Arab universities in various disciplines.
The Minister thanked the Director-General for this visit whose outcomes will benefit educational, cultural and scientific institutions in Djibouti by drawing on ALECSO’s expertise in its areas of action.
