H.E. Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti, received, on January 10, 2024 at the Presidential Palace, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.
The meeting addressed the ways and means of enhancing and diversifying cooperation between the Republic of Djibouti and ALECSO.
The Director-General briefed the President on the main projects and programs currently implemented by the Organization in the Arab countries, and listened to the President’s vision on ways to promote joint Arab action.
For his part, the President commended the significant role played by ALECSO in promoting joint Arab action in its areas of competence. He stressed the need to support the Organization and provide the best conditions for it to pursue its mandate, achieve its goals, develop its strategies, and expand its areas of activity.
