H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on December 22, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, a delegation from the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry lands (ACSAD)
The meeting discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between ALECSO and ACSAD in the coming period to serve the shared goals of the two organizations. ACSAD is a strategic partner to ALECSO in implementing many activities and programs, under a cooperation agreement signed between the two parties.
The head of ACSAD delegation thanked the Director-General for the invitation extended to the Center to participate in the World Conference on Food Security, organized by ALECSO on December 20-21, 2023 jointly with several regional and international organizations. He conveyed to the Director-General the greetings of Dr. Nasr Edin Obaid, Director-General of ACSAD, who was unable to attend the conference.
