H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates, received, on December 8, 2023, at the Greening Education Hub, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, who was on a visit to Dubai as part of his participation in COP28.
The Minister welcomed the Director-General and expressed appreciation of ALECSO’s activities and programs implemented in the Arab countries, as well as its forward-looking vision, as reflected in the Action Plan for 2023-2028. He commended the fruitful cooperation between the UAE and ALECSO in various programs that will be implemented in the close future, and called for further strengthening cooperation in order to benefit from the UAE’s pioneering expertise and experiences.
For his part, the Director-General thanked the Minister for providing this opportunity to consult on matters of mutual interest, and congratulated him on the successful inauguration of the Greening Education Hub.
The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations for the 18th Conference of Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which will be kindly hosted by the United Arab Emirates in mid-2024.
The Minister expressed the Ministry's readiness to provide all conditions for a more enhanced joint Arab action, especially in the fields of education, culture and science.
