H.E. Ms. Soha Gendy, Egyptian Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs, paid a visit, on November 14, 2023, to the Cairo-based Institute of Arab Research and Studies. She was received by Dr. Mohamed Kamal, Director of the Institute. Both sides discussed the role of the Institute and its research efforts covering various issues, including migration.
During her visit, the Minister attended an MA thesis defense on “The European Union’s policy towards irregular migration (2010-2020) : Egypt, Tunisia and Libya as case studies”.
