The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) condemns the brutal attacks committed by the Israeli occupation army and the systematic targeting of educational and cultural institutions, including the bombing of Al-Fakhoura and Tal Al-Zaatar schools in the Gaza Strip, claiming innocent lives and causing great devastation.
ALECSO appeals to the world’s countries, free consciences, and international organizations active in the fields of education, culture and science, to work toward putting an end to the indiscriminate bombing of schools, which has deprived thousands of students of their right to education, being a legitimate right guaranteed by international treaties and instruments.
