The 120th session of the Executive Board of ALECSO concluded its works on November 22, 2023, under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Hani bin Muqbel Al-Muqbel, President of the Board.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Al-Muqbel commended the significant results achieved by the Board meeting, including, in particular, the adoption of ALECSO’s budget for the financial cycle 2025-2026. He hailed the spirit of responsibility, teamwork and constructive consultation shown by the Board members during the scientific, technical and financial working sessions.
For his part, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, expressed his thanks to the Chairman of the Board for the pivotal role he has undertaken in the various working sessions. He extended thanks to all the Board members for their thorough and fruitful discussion of the agenda items, and hailed the spirit of dialogue that characterized the Board meeting.
A decision was issued at the end of the meeting approving Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the 121st session of the Executive Board and the 26th session of the General Conference in May 2024.
