The Institute of Arab Research and Studies, a subsidiary institution of ALECSO, organized, on October 26, 2023 at its headquarters in Cairo, a Symposium on “Arab-Chinese Cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative”.
Attended by a number of Arab and Chinese researchers, the Symposium discussed economic, educational, technological and diplomatic aspects of Arab-Chinese cooperation, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of China's launch of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The Institute had organized, on October 23, 2023, a meeting with a Chinese think-tank concerned with political and intellectual developments in China and their international dimensions. The two sides agreed to sign a cooperation protocol to enhance cooperation in the educational and research fields.
