H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on October 11, 2023, at ALECSO headquarters, H.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud, President of AGFUND.
The Director-General thanked Prince Talal for his visit to ALECSO, and expressed his delight at this meeting which will enhance cooperation and expertise-sharing between ALECSO and AGFUND in areas of common interest.
For his part, Prince Talal expressed his delight to visit ALECSO, and stressed the need to start working on an executive program that serves all areas of sustainable development.
During this meeting, a Cooperation Agreement was signed by H.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud and Dr. Soukeina Bouraoui, Executive Director of the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR).
Prince Talal was honored by the Director-General of ALECSO and by the Executive Director of CAWTAR, and was awarded the ALECSO and CAWTAR Shields.
The Director-General commended, in his statement on this occasion, the valuable role undertaken by Prince Talal who has sponsored many initiatives in various fields, and has shown a special interest in women and children affairs as well as in scientific and developmental issues. ALECSO, he added, highly appreciates this significant effort, and stands ready, as a house of expertise in its areas of competence, to build partnerships and contribute to building an Arab society that embraces science and knowledge in pursuit of sustainable development goals.
This ceremony was attended by the delegation accompanying Prince Talal, the Directors of ALECSO’s technical departments, along with the staff of ALECSO and CAWTAR..
