H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, paid a courtesy visit, on October 10, 2023, to H.E. Mr. Ahmed Abdelwahed Ahmed, Ambassador of the Republic of The Sudan to the Republic of Tunisia.
The Director-General presented the main activities and programs currently undertaken by ALECSO in its areas of competence. He commended the significant level of cooperation between the ALECSO and The Sudan, and the support provided to the Organization so that it can best implement its mandate.
For his part, the Sudanese Ambassador commended the leading role played by ALECSO in promoting the dissemination of science and knowledge throughout the Arab world, and the significant work performed in the fields of education, culture, science and scientific research, including the plans and strategies provided to Arab countries in pursuit of sustainable development goals.
