ALECSO signs Cooperation Agreement with Tunisian Education Ministry and Classera Smart Learning 

 

 

  • In line with the “Digital Solidarity: Learning and Education Connected Computer Devices for All” initiative, launched by ALESCO jointly with some of its partners during the “Transforming Education Summit” held in New York in September 2022, which aims to help Arab countries keep pace with digital transformations and enhance the development of services to promote the use of connected computers for learning/teaching purposes;

 

  • As part of the cooperation agreement signed between ALECSO and “Classera for Smart Learning” for the implementation of strategies and action plans aimed at making e-learning available for Arab countries, by designing educational platforms and providing the necessary technical advice and support; 

 

  • As part of the efforts exerted the Tunisian Ministry of Education to engage in digital transformation”;

 

A partnership and cooperation agreement was signed, on September 8, 2023, between ALECSO, the Tunisian Ministry of Education, and “Classera for Smart Learning”.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ali Boughdiri, Tunisian Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and  Classera CEO, Eng. Mohamed Al-Madani. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT Department at ALECSO, Mr. Abdelhak Haif, Head of the Office of the Director-General, along with representatives from the Tunisian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.

The agreement aims, inter alia, at providing a learning management system for 2,500,000 public-school students in Tunisia and for all relevant parties in the Ministry, which will enable the use of the latest digital management and e-learning systems in Tunisian educational institutions. The agreement also provides for an integrated training program for teachers, principals and administrators.
